Nice words...
Following on from the post below regarding my design for this year's Christmas e-greeting for Hong Kong-based dispute resolution specialists, Contract Dispute Consultants, I received a rather nice email from the firm's Managing Director, David Feehan:
"... Just a quick note to say thank you for your hard work again this year. The Xmas card has again been very well received and I think it helps us as a company to project a professional image. This wouldn't be possible without your help and input.
I look forward to working with you in 2010 which I hope will be a very productive and busy year for us. My best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year."
What a nice way to end the year - looking forward to 2010 already!

The sun shines (almost!) for Hebden Sports 2008
Saville Creative Communications has enlisted the services of Aldred Design to produce design and artwork for the cover and disc of its latest DVD film of the Hebden Sports 2008 event. Held annually for well over 100 years close to the small village of Hebden, near Grassington, it is a community day attracting not only local residents but people from across the region who come to compete in the well known Fell Race.
Inevitably there have been some changes over the years but the Sports still keeps its traditional local character with children's egg-&-spoon, three-legged and sack races, as well as flat races for all ages, and of course, the tug-of-war. Sideshows like Bat-the-Rat, Knock-down-Ginger, quoits and skittles add to the fun. The Sports always takes place on the August Bank Holiday Monday from 12.30 - 4.30pm, whatever the weather!
The DVD film covers the entire day's events from setting up the competition field to the prize giving, and captures the fun and community spirit that pervades throughout. The DVD is available through Saville Creative Communications or by visiting the BOFRA website.
