University Technical Colleges Guide

A new 12-page guide to University Technical Colleges (UTCs) and their ability to attract more female students has recently been completed for client WISE on behalf of the Royal Academy of Engineering. The guide states the case for increased female admissions into UTCs and offers a useful checklist for those managing these institutions to gauge their effectiveness in appealing to females entering the subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The document also features a page of infographics that illustrates some surprising statistics relating to females in the STEM industries.

Arnavon - Helping People Grow

A new identity has recently been completed for Arnavon, an integrated urban agriculture project based in Tucson, Arizona. The logo design (the name is a translation for 'rabbit' in Hebrew) communicates elements of the agriculture programme itself by incorporating illustrations of a rabbit, hen, fish, bees, fruits and flowers within the letter forms. Initially, the logo has been used on banners to advertise the organisation at local produce fairs and farmer's markets but will eventually be included on packaging labels and will form the visual base for a new website.
