A four-page A4 newsletter for Melbourne-based shopfitters Whytehall Services has recently been completed for Australian client 20m and will be inserted in to copies of the retail publication Retail FitOut.

Business Information company gets colourful look

An identity and strapline for new business information company Your-MI (Your Management Information) has recently been completed and applied across business cards and stationery. The business cards also feature a 'barcode' device printed on the reverse which, when scanned by a smartphone, transfers all the contact details from the card into the phone's address book. Clever, eh!?

AFSG Identity

An identity for the Armed Forces Support Group, a charitable organisation based in Bingley has recently been completed by Aldred Design.

Portraits Brochure

Recently completed for Shipley-based photography studio Mathew Imison Photography, this 12-page A5 landscape brochure showcases Mathew's talents for capturing superb portraits of babies, children, whole families and even their pets! The brochure comes as the latest project in a line of assignments that Aldred Design has completed for Mathew Imison Photography over the last two years, including the company identity, business cards and stationery, studio signage, promotional banners, leaflets and gift vouchers.

A new website, with design by Aldred Design, will be launched shortly.

Official opening of Menston Hall development

I was kindly invited by client Incommunities to attend the official opening of Menston Hall today, a £2.7 million housing project on the north west outskirts of Leeds.

The Menston Hall development comprises a full refurbishment of the existing hall and two new buildings which together provide 30 two-bedroom apartments. 17 of the new build homes are released through a shared ownership scheme, and five let exclusively to people over 55 years of age. The main hall has been converted into six apartments for private sale and two for sale through the Government’s Homebuy Direct scheme.

Earlier in the year, Aldred Design produced marketing literature for Incommunities to promote the development.

Two new ads

Two new advertisements recently completed - the first for Australian shopfitters Whytehall and the second for Hong Kong based Contract Dispute Consultants.

Australian shopfitters website goes live

The new website for Melbourne-based shopfitting company Whytehall Services has recently been launched. Working for client 20m, Aldred Design produced the visual design interface and the site was then completed by web company Hindsight. A series of advertisements (above) to promote the new website has also been designed and these will appear in various Australian retail and shopfitting publications in the coming weeks.

The new website forms part of a complete rebranding exercise for the company which has also involved the design and production of a new literature pack, including a 12-page brochure and 16 case study sheets.

Brochure pack for moorland services company

A marketing pack comprising four separate 6-page service brochures and a company profile, all 'half-Canadian' wiro bound into an outer cover has recently been completed for Dinsdale Moorland Services Limited.

The North Yorkshire based company specialises in contracting in difficult terrains and environmentally sensitive locations and provides a host of services as diverse as moorland management, GPS mapping and design and construction of mountain bike trails. Each of the four service brochures reduces in width for each successive document and slots into a pocket in the outer folder, thus revealing all titles in an indexed format. The brochures cover the following areas: Habitat Restoration & Management; Surveying & Consultancy Services; Infrastructure Services; and Mountain Bike Trail Design & Build.

This year's Chinese New Year celebrates the Year of the Rabbit and the e-greeting that Aldred Design created for Hong Kong based Contract Dispute Consultants to send to it's clients and partners in the construction industry utilises stylised typography to make the connection.

Keeping it in the family

A new website designed for illustrator Catherine Aldred (yes, she's my sister!) has recently gone live. The website is primarily a showcase for Catherine's illustrations which feature architecture and landscapes. You can visit the new website here.

Season's Greetings from HK consultancy

This year's e-Christmas greeting card created for Hong Kong-based Contract Dispute Consultants features a design showing a partridge in a pear tree rendered using the company's corporate colours.

 

Makeover for Nevis Computers

Nevis Computers Ltd recently commissioned Aldred Design to refresh the company's visual identity whilst still retaining the main elements of its recognised mountain icon and text style. The new design features a redrawn mountain icon with modified logo text underneath and the whole contained within a neat roundel. The new design has been applied to business cards and a company folder which use metallic silver ink and feature a die-cut radiused corner to create a smart and professional image.

Around & About Yorkshire DVD - Issue 5

The latest issue DVD in the Around & About Yorkshire series for Saville Creative Communications has just been completed and is now available in selected outlets across the county or by clicking here. Aldred Design produced the design and branding for the outer cover and the on-body design for the DVD itself. A4-sized posters for use in shop windows were also produced to promote the new issue.

The Panorama Rocks Ilkley

An information signboard for The Panorama Rocks in Ilkley has recently been erected with graphics and images by Aldred Design for client Ichicoo Design.

Autumn Savers Promotion

Branding for the British Blinds Autumn promotion has been applied to the company's website and also across a series of leaflets and regional advertisements.

Cover-up Story

A series of sign boards have been commissioned by Harden Park Homes near Bingley to disguise an enclosure on their luxury residential park home site which contains a number of LPG tanks. Working for client Mathew Imison, Aldred Design produced designs for the run of boards which were then erected around the enclosure. In addition, a 1.5 x 1 metre lectern-style information board was created to provide information for passing walkers and visitors about the history and nature of Goit Stock Valley, in which the award winning park homes site is located.
