Always nice to see the placement of an advert in the final publication in which it appears. On this occasion, for client WISE, I landed lucky – front page (albeit at the bottom) of this recent accompanying supplement to The Independent.

Hello Tiger!
The Chinese New Year starts on February 14th and so it's out with the Ox, and in with the Tiger. Contract Dispute Consultants asked me to design an e-greeting to celebrate the Year of the Tiger for e-mailing to their clients and partners in the construction industry. Here's what it looked like.

Kung Hei Fat Choi!
Hong Kong based legal company Contract Dispute wanted a Chinese New Year greeting that could be emailed to all clients and colleagues. A range of design options was presented but the idea above won out as the firm favourite. Let's hope the Year of the Ox brings greater fortune than the year of the Rat.

Site security leans towards Towers
Press advertisements for Construction News and Contract Journal have been produced by Aldred Design for new client Camwatch. As the largest CCTV monitoring company in the UK, Camwatch was keen to promote the benefits of its TOWER system, a rapidly deployable, portable, telescopic CCTV monitoring mast, specially suited to construction sites or other locations where fixed surveillance or security monitoring equipment is rendered impractical. In addition to offering superior site monitoring features, when compared with traditional 'man-guarding' the Camwatch Tower can also deliver significant annual cost savings.
The press campaign will be supported by a 'skyscraper' spot advertising campaign, set to run on the Building website from late April.
